Horse Shit!

Sorry about the language, but it makes a pretty great title, right? Well anyway... here's a sketch that started off as just some doodle nonesense in my notes, but I ended up using it to try out a couple of programs I'm learning to use. Follow along cause this will be fun!
Heeeere weeeee goooooo!

Here's what started out as my weird pencil sketch. I think I had that song stuck in my head. You know the one? "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play... today... hooray" something like that.

This is where I tested out my new illustrator skills. I'm finally learning to use the pen tool and different ways to digitally ink my drawings with illustrator. All thanks to a class I'm taking in school. I guess school is pretty cool... well I'll be a monkey's butt. :/

Oh yeah? Well school didn't teach me Jack DANIELS about this program! This is me trying to learn how to use Corel Painter. It's cool, but it's freaking hard. There's too many brushes slash paints slashes options and for someone who hasn't painted since ever, it's a pretty hard program to make friends with. I'm not done with this one yet, but I just wanted to post it in case I never get around to finishing it. I wish I could take a digital painting class or something. Or at least just hook up to that machine from the matrix that taught Neo kung-fu. ...maybe some day... maybe the one day!

OK peace be with you.

What the hell-o dolly is wrong with that horse's HANDS!? Too bad school doesn't teach a class in "Building Matrixes", because then you could just build that insta-learn device. Catch 22!

Thanks for your comments on my n&a stuff! it's the first time i did it and i didn't realise they'd put all 50 hundred of my patterns up at once...

nice work! you're really getting the hang of it. the tracing seems especially tight.

yeah my digital art professors didn't teach me a damn thing. it's like they were just there to drink tea and figure out different ways to accesorize with their thick black glasses and also wear giant dark sweaters and pull the sleeves up between sips even though they'd just fall back down again when they put their arms down.
